Camps

With over 20 camps spread across the Kruger, there’s no shortage of ways to experience the bush.

Skukuza, Satara, and Lower Sabie are the largest and most established camps in Kruger, offering a full range of amenities including:

  • Comfortable accommodation options
  • On-site restaurants and shops
  • Fuel stations
  • Guided activities and game drives
  • Swimming pools and other facilities

Ideal for first-time visitors and those seeking comfort and convenience during their safari experience.

Bushveld Camps

Smaller and more intimate, these camps (including Biyamiti, Sirheni, and Talamati) offer:

  • Self-catering accommodation only
  • Peaceful, secluded locations
  • No shops or restaurants on site
  • Limited number of units for privacy

Perfect for travelers looking for a quieter, more private bush experience with basic amenities.

Satellite and Rustic Camps

For those seeking a more adventurous stay, camps like Tamboti, Tsendze, and Balule provide:

  • Basic, no-frills accommodation
  • Limited or no electricity in some locations
  • Close-to-nature experience
  • Fewer facilities than main rest camps

Best suited for experienced safari-goers who want an authentic bush experience with minimal modern conveniences.
