Etosha National Park

Located in northern Namibia, Etosha National Park is one of Africa’s great wildlife destinations. Centered around a vast salt pan visible from space, the park supports a wide range of animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, and large herds of antelope. Its waterholes - both natural and man-made - are famous for offering incredible, often close-up sightings, especially during the dry season.

Etosha is well-suited to self-drive safaris, with good infrastructure, rest camps, and clear signage. The park’s open landscapes and sparse vegetation make wildlife spotting relatively easy, even for first-time visitors. With its dramatic scenery and excellent photographic opportunities, Etosha offers a safari experience that’s both accessible and unforgettable.
